How to disable iCloud Photo Library on your iPhone?

The process is very easy and simple so, let’s get started.

Method#1

  1. Launch the Settings app on your iOS Device(iPhone/iPad).
  2. Scroll down and tap on Photos.
  3. Turn off the switch next to iCloud Photo Library.

Method#2

  1. Launch the Settings app on your iOS Device(iPhone/iPad).
  2. Go to Apple ID(your name) > iCloud > Photos.
  3. Turn off the switch next to iCloud Photo Library.iCloud-Photo-Lib-2

When you will tap on the switch to turn it off then a popup will appear with two options:

Remove from iPhone:

If you choose this options then the photos that aren’t available on your device and are yet to be downloaded will not be downloaded on this device. However, these images will still be available on other devices which are using the same iCloud account and running iCloud Photo Library,

Download Photos and Videos:

If you choose this option then all the remaining photos and videos will be downloaded on your device. If you need photos and videos then you should choose this option but if you don’t need this option then choosing the Remove option works because it won’t take time on downloading the remaining photos and videos.

No matter which option you choose, iCloud Photo Library will ultimately be disabled on your iOS device.
